Donor Advised Fund
Donors who wish to remain actively involved with their philanthropy may choose a
Donor Advised Fund from which they can make their own grant recommendations. They are becoming increasingly popular alternatives to the expense and administration of setting up and running a private foundation. Honoring the intent of our donors is a high priority at Capstone; however, by law, the Foundation's Board of Directors must retain final responsibility for all distributions made by the Foundation.
Donor Application
Field of Interest Fund
Field of Interest Funds are for those with an interest in supporting a particular area for field of ministry or charity beyond the scope of a Donor Advised Fund. While the donor names the specific Field of Interest, the Capstone Board of Directors, as a 501(c)(3), establishes a fund most closely associated with the donor's intent.
Undesignated Fund
The general purpose funds give the Foundation the greatest flexibility to meet out region's changing and emerging ministry needs. Like Field of Interest Funds, grants from Unrestricted Funds are generally limited to the local community.
Organizational Endowment Fund
Our non-profit donors may create permanent Endowment Funds at the Foundation. We handle all administration and investment responsibilities, freeing the organization to pursue its charitable mission.
Designated Fund
A donor may name one or more specific organization to share the income from their fund and receive annual distributions.
Scholarship Fund
Donors may endow scholarship funds that make awards to benefit a certain type of student, a specific institution, or to encourage study of a particular subject.
